Indefinite Martyr

If an indefinite martyr
Happens to come to your town
With an empty stomach
A sound gurgling out his
Emptied intestines
Ignore him and his
Spiritual ways

He’s not sure what to fight for
Hasn’t a clue which side to be on
Sometimes even a martyr
Just needs a bite to eat
Food to nourish to satisfy
Those desires that a God cannot
Justify entirely

A wonderful poem, I enjoyed it immensely. A whole assortment of images, all interesting, came to my mind while reading it. Thanks for sharing the work with us.
