.. I have to do this quick, since it seems mom and dad.. [that's the moderaturz].. have decided that not only do I go to bed without any supper if I play with you sub-fishes.. but they forcefully REMOVE me from the dinner table before I've even had a chance to taste my peas.. [which aren't so hot anyway] [so there! mom and dad] [phooey!] [that's poo on you, in other words]

.. OKAY.. back to my job as resident fishlit critic.

Now.. your "oneder" does reward one a double-take, as at first one is tempted to say: uhnuhder.. [to try and write this phonetically].. but then, wonder of wonders, it becomes one-der. [big fat shit, fish] [my god.. I hope you didn't pass up a good john hook-up just to lay that particular piece of profundity on us].. [gee wiz]

.. but, you know, there is a rather nice free-associational nonsense thing going on in this poem.. although, "ecstasea" is just crap. And yet it does take us into those tragic familial waters.. which takes us to good buys.. and half off that double price [which reminds me what happened to gas, which went down like that, but only after having gone up double, only now the crooks are taking it up again, it seems.. and even my very favorite hair product that I use has gone way up in price.. I mean, because of the cost of gasoline, etc.] [my god].. now wh--

oh, so.. yes. Free association. [I have no idea what that is, obviously] In so speaking.. I like that the "rip-off" [comparable here to gas] then becomes the ripping off of, let's face it, fish, the few clothes you seem to wear normally [not that your host fish pic is in evidence, at the moment.. but you probably just figure that mom and dad are going to ground you anyway, so why bother inciting us any more than your meandering pometry manages to do] [you figure].. Okay.. so.. "not so holey now" is.. well.. stretching it, I'd say.. [which might also relate to clothing].. But, I mean, really fish, was there ever any risk of holiness?.. or am I missing something.. some secret side of you you've thus far kept off limits [no doubt]..

.. "the applez fools far from a three".. is, perhaps, your special brand of inanity at its finest. [sometimes I just want to wrestle you down to the ground, and.. well, see what happens after that] [not too sure what would happen, actually]

.. now, believe it or not, I'm rather concerned that you might actually have me with "tremorfull".. hmm.. is there some "likeness" here that I am unaware of?.. It's worrisome that you might have in some way prevailed here.. On the other hand, it might just be a meaningless piece of shit, in which case.. actually, in which case, you still have me, since I still don't know if that's what it is. [fuck, fish] [though, actually, even if there were some "doublage" here that I'm unaware of, it would still amount to a meaningless piece of shit, and so I at least have that "tremorfull" little note to end on]..

.. and finally.. your need to further incite me with the old standby [at this point]: Who can say?

Does it please you that I used to resort to this rhetorical question from time to time, just to maybe punctuate a point or something.. only NOW.. now I'm stuck with having to think of you and your pathetic, repetitive need to incite me?.. Does that have your fishy-wishy taily-wog [okay, I just made that up] [you have me winging it, fish] [or do I mean "finning" it?].. anyway, does it have you all wriggly 'n stuff, just to fathom such puerile victory?.. I hope so.. or else it really HAS no purpose.

Okay, well, mom and dad will be home soon.. so.. I guess this fishbowl will be fed to the dogs [or the cat, at any rate].. and my incomparable sub-host-fish lit crit will be but a forgotten winnow.. winnowing down the cesspool of forgotten fish dreams..

.. "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done".. And yet
