While I adore Sharon for all the years she's dedicated herself to helping Leonard - whether that be as a backup singer starting in the 1970's, producing his albums or even co-writing a few of "his" tracks, the selfish side of me was hoping to hear that she is "currently in the studio working on the latest Leonard Cohen release... Hahaha

I'm sure whatever will be forthcoming from Leonard will have a heavy Sharon Robinson influence. Part of me wonders if artists, such as Ms. Robinson, ever wish they could spend more time focusing on their own work. She is a very talented artist and while I'm sure she would have had a nice career even without Leonard, I wonder if she ever wished she had more time to focus on other projects. One would have to think that she cherishes her time working with Leonard - especially because he puts so much trust in her words, music & ideas...but it still makes me wonder. God, I love her voice!

I also adore Sharon, she's a lovely person and her voice is truly divine, and I love the songs that she has written with Leonard.

However, these words really stood out for me on her new homepage: "While there are rumors of more Leonard Cohen dates late in 2011..."

What rumours?!? Anybody?

I adore Sharon and her voice and delivery... period.
I would love to see a show performed by her as a solo.
