Jazz Police is another one, protesting the tyranny by some over others.

Another is "Diamonds in the Mine", and particularly the live version from the 70s, in which Leonard sings (or rather screams and yells!):

"I told you this in the days of Vietnam
When the poets danced for Ho Chi Minh and the jocks for Uncle Sam
Well which side are you gonna take?
Which song are you gonna sing?
With the mega stench of baby corpses blowing the wind..."

Hi,

"Democracy" comes to mind as not too far afield from a "protest song."
