some old poems i found lying around...

these poems i wrote while at work. i have a stack of receipt papers i wrote on. haha. they have no titles, they were all just thoughts i scribbled in rhyme, whatever i felt at that time. hm... i just made a rhyme! haha. ok, here they are.
untitled #1
like monkeys shot into space
sacrificed for the greater good
we are a nation
a new generation
between the past and the future
the rebellious glue, the aggravated suture
we need a kick in the heart
to jumpstart our emotivness
for just a dollar a day
the old-fashioned way
[note: i wrote something else but crossed it out. it looks like this is unfinished, but i leave it finished here. oh well.]
untitled #2
I want to eat a hole in the psycho world of ever-dreaming pain
I want to tear up the last pieces of faith and prosperity
I took an oath pretending to be god
found my loving fraud
News on love is a sick rarity
"Stand in line, marking time
Waiting for the welfare dime"
'cause my capital is terrible
and not so salvagable in total paradigm rhyme
Lords of mercenaries of anarchy of the kingdom of slugs
Fire is the way, so blow your tight fuse
I want to kill the kill
mourn my hastened thrill
and fight my way through the monstrous Satan's muse
Zombies can't promise you hell
They just want to get to know you
Bitter, bitter, bitter, bitter
happiness in sanity
[note: the quoted lines, i now realize, came from a song by bruce hornsby and the range called "the way it is."]
untitled #3
There is a major discrepency in love.
When one true believer is burdened with the prayers of the faithless,
and the faithless recieve,
without knowing what to do,
without having the ability,
and most of all,
carry a lack of respect, honesty, and knowledge.
Yes, tehre is a major discrepency.
Sometimes I wonder if there are people like me.
Christians screwed by Jesus.
Psychics screwed by the stars.
Politicians screwed by politics.
I have been screwed by love.
There's no worse feeling,
when your entire life has been toyed with,
put on the shelf,
ignored,
and it breaks my heart.
They say if you believe in love that it will come to you.
I am tired of waiting...
but there is nothing I can do.
And so I'm dead.
