Im not sure if Leonard Cohen has this letter in mind, however it is interesting to read:

I will have to print it out to read it. It will be interesting to see if it marries with "Dear Heather". Did you just do a web search Peter.

This is really amazing to me, Peter. It's either serendipity; 'synchronicity' [a few years apart]; or it's metaphorical for the content/'intent' of this late-in-Leonard's-life album. It will be interesting to see/hear the content and progression of the songs on 'Dear Heather,' as it seems to me the likelihood is very high of Leonard's having read [through various Jewish periodicals or whatever] what we are reading, via this link. It's a title that would say so much

and, in that, it would be 'very Leonard'

. It would also answer many of our questions, as to "Who's Heather!?!"

But the content is so different. Leonard just seems to be telling Heather how unforgettably pretty she is. Maybe Heather gets a lot of male.

~ True, Lightning. Cute

. Of course, Leonard's letter-song to Heather wouldn't
have to follow the content idea of the site's, and the album could still encompass the same concept. However, it's just as likely a similarity via names. We could still account the album's title to our dear Heather here

.

Well Iv'e been back and read the letter, I found it interesting I particularly liked the part about Rachel Remen. I also had a quick look around the rest of the site on the home page there is a link to the hunger site in which you can donate food to the worlds hungry, it doesn't cost anything to donate, the sponsors pay for food everytime you click on. I just spent a bit of time browsing their catalogue, some unusual stuff there, they also ship outside the US. Anyway shopping over
Perhaps in time we will discover just who Heather is.
