These are the appetites

These are the appetites
that get one nowhere
complaining of rain
when a drizzle falls
faintly

Amongst brick builidings
a future to be had
by those holding experience
as richness

Overcast skies cause doubt...
To the ones like me
who breakaway and have
stopped asking questions
long ago

Youth in disguise
behind masks of certainty
reflect dismal communication
towards truth

On these days
where a sun will not
shine, I illustrate
fate with a
penstroke

so effortless... that is no acquired talent, my friend. it is inbred. like the ability to love. only love takes effort. i only have two thumbs, so they both go up in the air. if i had more you'd get a more freakishly praised reaction. haha.

:D I like your way of praise for Sean's poem, Teratogen 8) . Sean, I like the way the energy of your poem flowed from one verse to the next, and to natural conclusion within each. I'm glad to see you writing here.
