I really like the idea of this poem. The idea of not being the person another one thought you would be. There is something Cohenesque about this poem but I think the ending is weak compared to the rest. Being inside of tear seems to be a bit over-the-top when compared to the concrete images of the rest of the poem. I imagine that is probably part of the meaning of the poem...
