Spike Milligan took his boots off in WW2. That single act did more to free his feet than it did to free anyone else, apart from Hitler and Mussolini , who were glad they weren't too close when it happened.
I offer this advice to all : keep your helmet on, and wash your socks.
Abroad is a strange place : watch out for people who speak the same language as you: they are spies, all of them. Oh yes: Spike and I communicate in different tongues...that's the only way we know what's going on. He also has a piece of paper to prove that it's 8 o'clock (and I have personally witnessed that number, though I can't hear it, even when I press it close to my ear).

That's all for now folks,

Eccles (aka Andrew)
