What a great presentation of a poem - very imaginative.
I love how the letters are falling from recklessness.

Hi Cate, my imagination was running wild this morning. Initially, these few words came to mind in the form of a poem…

For the time being
I am pedaling
dreamily forward,
without a backward glance…

Why not
entertain the possibility…
and then smile
at the thought of
such recklessness.

But then I felt like doing something a little more creative with the words because the poem appeared insufficient unto itself. And so I dabbled with the spatial arrangement of the words, hoping to present them in a more imaginative way, just for the "reckless" fun of it!!

As I was pedaling dreamily forward, I was delighted to discover a lonesome country road, for it led me to a quaint little country store full of anything you might want to imagine. Browsing, I happened upon a pair of slightly used roller blades. Immediately I began to think…then I thought, "I think I will buy these!" After that last mishap with the bike, I wanted to be prepared, just in case I took another tumble…

By the way, if you are thinking of cup cakes, I am telling you…this quaint little country store makes the yummiest chocolate cupcakes. I had one 1/2 hour ago and let me tell you, I have been hooked ever since. Why not entertain the possibility…and then smile at the thought of such recklessness…

Immediately
I started lookin’ for a place
to get myself out of the cold.
