Hello everybody!

I am new at this forum but I am a fan of Leonard Cohen since 1986... I´ve visited Hydra island (Greece) for five years (and the mithyc Leonard´s house there too ) and...

I´ve heard about a film called "Film from a room" filmed by two musicians from the group The Nits... I CAN´T find it anywhere, does anybody know where it might be?

Does anybody knows something about this film (film from a room) ? It´s hard to find... still it is!

It's a film made for the Finnish TV by the well-known free-lance media person Seppo Pietikäinen (Finland) and his friend Henk Hofstede (Holland). Henk is the leader of The Nits, but the band has nothing to do with this film.

We screened the film in 2002 at the Hydra Event, and both Seppo and Henk were there with us and told about the filming.
It's a black & white road movie, very funny, a bit in the style of the Kaurismäki brothers.

14 years have passed, I am returning to Hydra (2024) and... STILL lookin for this film "Film from a room". Any help?

pd: I wrote once (don´t remember whom) asking directly for the film but he asked me "no possible" due to piracy problems... my god, how much money they are planning to earn with this film ?
