TO Leonard

On dancing on the glass
the beautifull ass
and the angel glands to be
the men in linen
did behave like women
and the worst women to be
the ship of sighs
and the gondola byes
it's the ship of state to be
and the luminous hate
of the matter of fate
or the chance that you will be free
Ten songs dancing
and women prancing
and the saviour of the mist and the sea
to be drowning and the sight a frowning
of Suzanne and the oranges and tea
in the future and the sight of the butcher
the partisan's already freed
of various positions and the devil of attrittion
and the nuclear fission
and the angular leison
and the byeword for the password that be
thats all, thats all it will be
and the sangria, the sangria..............in the sea

Nice poetry, thats shows insight in LC works.

I once wrote a song (in danish, so I'll spare you) about a man who loved a broken Crystal so much that he bleed to death, with his heart filled with everlasting joy.

Hi Georges

You do a wonderful job of finding all the diamonds in the Leonard Cohen mine! Wonderful juxtapositions!

Peace

That's the beauty of it, Georges. You struggle, do all the work, and we get the benefit! And a measure of your success is that it comes out looking easy! It flows!

I like your feedback, Babz. Your juxtapositions comment helped me to see it from that aspect. Your diamonds in his mine comment, as well.

I also see the struggle, as well as the more flowing result, Georges. :)

Just how many sangrias did you drink while composing this poem?
