gasoline rainbow

gasoline rainbow

the clouds of stalled darkness
shall blanket my home
my clothes will lie folded
my art fills the walls
the music plays softly
my fish swims alone
a gasoline rainbow
etched on my soul
the sex of my neighbours
heard down the hall
this is my life
and I wish it would grow
to infest this darkness
that blankets my home

peace

I like this poem, and I do not usually like poems. I am also looking at your artwork now and it is quite good.

I like it very much, too, ilang. As long as you remove the "h," yes; it is a word, Arno. Or, it's a new word with the "h" left in ~ just let us know what additional layer of meaning the "h" brings  . It really is very atmospheric and unique in its cry for change. I love the title and its implications of tainted happiness.
