great news, hope can get a pair of tickets. I have thought about Tokyo, HK, TPE but never Phnom Penh as the 1st stop in Asia.

I was interested to see that the pre-sale link is to AEGLive/ Seetickets. Good on Leonard, Robert & AEG for going to all this trouble to make tickets available to fans. I hope you all get the seats you are hoping for.

um why is it $100 more expensive to see leonard in Phnom Penh than it is to see him in Sydney? Is this concert pitched at Cambodians, expats or the Emirates?

At these prices I would expect to join Leonard on stage for a duet or at least be given Javier Mas red velvet chair

Was all revved up but can't justify more for the tickets than return flights from oz - sad sad sad Can't see how the gig could be that expensive to run - someone's making some real money

it has to be aimed at the NGO crowd, surely! I'm a silly poor expat and crazily bought myself a $300 ticket. I wouldn't do it for anyone else. I've done it now and will make the most of enjoying the experience. ... even the experience of paying such a ludicrous price (and not even getting the best seat in the house). Anyway, it's Cambodia... surely I can go pinch someone else's seat right by the stage?

Well I was about to buy 4 tickets but cannot justify doing so at these prices even if a portion of it is going to a good cause.

Per Capita income in Cambodia is $321 a year. Minimum level pay for factory workers is $45 per month but many earn double that - Wow! So much for the locals seeing Leonard perform! And across the border in prosperous Thailand the good folks in Isaan may aspire to earn $4000 a year and I cannot see many of them crossing the border to see Leonard perform either despite my recomendations!

There has to be lcheaper tickets available for locals so my advice as a Tour Operator and Cohenite is

1 Book a flight to Bangkok and see the sites and chill on a beach

2 Take a cheap Air Asia hop to Phnom Penh.

3 Allow three days for Angkor Wat (leaves Machu Pichu and the Pyramids for dead) and 2 days for exploring Phnom Penh

4 Go to the stadium on the day because at these prices I suspect there will be plenty of availability at local prices.There are not that many NGO workers or expatriats in Cambodia to filll the stadium and most of the superwealty locals in Bangkok, KL, Singapore, Djakarta, Manilla and HK would not know Leonard from a bar of soap and they will not be flocking to PP.

I suspect the pricing could be a mega miscalculation because if tickets were priced at European or American levels Middle Class locals in South East Asia would have been attracted plus die hard Cohenites from Australasia, Europe and North America because of the novelty value of the event.

The response on this forum shows the initial reaction is almost incredulous and this is from dedicated fans. I have regularly and happily been paying top dollar for tickets and the tickets are well within my price range but I cannot justify it - I would rather donate to a local charity and fly to a couple of the African or South American dates if they materialise.

There will have to be cheaper prices made available in due course to encourage locals to attend - surely Leonard has a sense of solidarity with the local Bhuddists?

i completely agree that these tickets are not priced for your average local... and the locals that could pay... would they want to go?? has to be for NGOs (and fools like myself who can't really justify it but did buy a ticket! )

Given that it was reported that Leonard was substantially reducing his fee for this show I had also hoped for more affordable ticket prices (the range being $241-$600). I bit my tongue and attempted to buy one of the cheapest tickets, twice, which didn't go through.
