.. hi..

..okay, so, to anyone who might be able to help me with this:

I have a poem that has some unusual spacing, only I notice that when I go to post it, the spacing collapses..

.. there are unusual sized spaces between each word, even..

.. is there a way to preserve these spaces when posting here??.. I did read all the stuff that seemed to pertain to this, but found nothing on spacing..

thanks,

Dear Violet...

I have been playing around with the format and you are right when you preview it loses all the spacing...

The only thing i can think of trying is write it in wordproccesing programe (word) and post it as an attachment. Might be worth a try.

.. oh.. so.. it's not just me, then??.. that's news (!)..

.. well, if anyone else knows differently.. Cate.. sometimes you post lines that are indented, and I wonder how you achieve that.. is there something you know that we don't know??..

.. thanks, Karren, in any event.. I'll look into the attachment option as well..

that's all I do... here's a nice colour code for the light blue - ............ just quote this and you'll be able to see it.

Oh, our posts crossed, Cate.. so that is what you do.. I'll check that out.. [oh, that was cute!.. your little invisible message, I mean].. [xx x]..

prior post to K:
.. oh, yeah.. the ellipses I could try.. though that would be so tedious in this instance, since the poem has a lot of odd spacing.. maybe Jarkko will notice this and post an EDICT of some kind.. (just testing to see if Jarkko is all seeing or not.. like Santa or God or something.. or like Leonard).. (maybe)..

.. anyway, thanks again (!).. I hope you have reason to want to know this too, since you've been so diligently investigating this for me (!)..
