Nothing's done

Nothing’s done
It was good to have confided
in you.
I feel lighter somehow, and
the road just ahead
runs through me like a river,
filling me with a certain buoyancy
that only this torn heart
can deem to
know.
I don’t know where it is I touch you.
Not at all sometimes,
then sometimes deeply,
though not at all.
Having done all this,
it still seems
nothing’s done;
nothing’s ended,
just begun

by imaginary friend
nothing’s done;
nothing’s ended,
just begun
how lovely, V., to be on the same journey, yet with renewed energy.
Your poem has a slightly bemused edge, yet is filled with hope and insight... the kind I've only experienced when confiding in an imaginary friend

.. you're sweet.. and I agree, there's nothing quite like having one.. (especially since she's only part imaginary)..

nice, Violet, with the final stanza better than "nice". does the second verse speak of confusion and contradictory signals?
your poem deserves more attention particularly as it comes from such a vital member of this forum.
