Does anyone here know anything about this video?
There is such a wonderful feeling amongst these people - of all ages - as they sing "Anthem" - along with Leonard Cohen.

Love it! The very same feeling that we all experience at the live concerts....
The difference here is we can see the intensity of the Cohenite faces and the honest expressions of connection to Leonard ....as opposed to the back of someone's head at a live concert!

Mezmerizing is truly the word! What an affirming and beautiful little video. The joy and sense of fun that everyone seems to be having is wonderful...their faces beam, even if their singing may never make it into a studio! That's not important. I would also love to know more about where this was filmed...and who these wonderful people are!! Thanks for sleuthing this one out, Linda.

You are a super sleuth for finding this, it's priceless
I love the fact that there are old, young and all ages in between singing this song with mucho gusto!!! It actually reminded me of the feeling here on this forum but we can't see or dance with each other
Well, I suppose we do verbally.
It seems to be filmed in a local town hall or some similar building. The fact that there is a variety of all ages could be that it is a religious group. Check out the coffee urn and cups and the wall hanging for more clues

It was a new video posted at YouTube - that was how I found it. I asked the poster of the video about it and he responded that the event was actually a birthday celebration for his girlfriend. They are both big fans of Leonard Cohen and have been to his shows and events.
It is so obvious that they all love Leonard Cohen!!
Also, the poster said that the three in the second row - "hugging each other and singing loudly" - are his children, and he said that they all grew up on the music of Leonard Cohen "and in fact his music was their first lullabies."
Definitely a "feel good" video!

OMG - how BEAUTIFUL & POWERFUL!! This video made me sob from beginning to end. . . so awesome how much love & exultation Our Man inspires. . . thank you so much for this link, Linda & thank you to 7generations for posting it!
Looks like this man's entire circle of family & friends are Cohen devotees - how wonderful for them & no wonder there is so much love & affection between them; & how wise of those parents to lullaby their children with Leonard Cohen!
