In the passing
Sound is lost

Words, bent
Condemned and tossed,
then wrought in iron
and pressed into the cloth.

Not like similies,
which are similar
but not the same,

this Trickster
by another name

is just a stumbling block.

Hey Joe- I especially liked the above stanza. It brings to mind the image of a priest or master of ceremonies of sorts... The title is interesting if indeed that is the title.
Nice work.
