I´ve used some references to Leonard Cohen musics in some of my paintings.

I LOVE the snail painting!!!!
I really, really love it - including the words you have chosen for it.

Thank you very much, Cate. I´m glad you like it . After I photographed it I noticed that I had mispeled the word "Though" but I´ve since corrected it. The first time I included a rreference to LC in a painting was when the Dear Heather cd came out. I was painting a landscape and I included an outdoor to publicise the cd. Free publicity. They do it in films and tv series, so I decided to do it too in painting, but for free, because it was about a LC cd...and probabily nobody would pay me a cent for anything else, anyway...
That other painting is also in my blog, in previous pages.

Those are really a nice paintings. Specially the third and the second one. Well I didn't get the exact idea what the first one is trying to say. But the other two are awesome.

This is the new painting I just finished. I experimented using an air rifle to shoot some oil painting. You can see a step by step of this painting in my blog,

Thank you abbiejo6 and musicmania. In the first painting, besides an outdoor anouncing LC "Dear Heather" cd, there´s another one publicizing Aloe Vera to smoke. I just see aloe vera in so many products (shampoos, drinks, cakes, yogurts, toilet paper, shoe polish...I just invented these...) that I thought, why not smoke it too?
