Pyramid Subconcious

Stand yourself on the square
and look at the eye of the pyramid over there
can you not see the key?
bewteen your soul and the deep blue sea?
and ask the guardian spinx the riddle
down there by the pyramids middle
did the earth move for thee?
and what lies under the desert ground?
was there any secrets to be found?
and the moon majestically rose over the apex
and enveloped the triangle in a soft sheen of latex
and the stones moved in the moonlights stare
drawn by the mysterious power hidden under there
and formed an entrance to the enchanted tomb
just discernible in twilight's last gloom
and if you entered into the knowledge inside
forget the jewels, forget the riches, forget your pride
without the comforting buffer of sleep
the infinate wisdom could be yours to keep

Hi Georges ~

I really like this poem, except for the word "latex," which seems anachronistic.

I used the word because it conveyed the right image, Liz.

It would not rhyme with apex and latex is sexier.........

That kind of latex  !?! O-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-k-a-a-a-a-a-y..................not sure that 'sexier' would be the correct word, either.

Merging pyramids and rubbers....yeah, it seems that word fits better somehow. The pyramids kinky? How so?
