Love Untied

I climbed all the steps to the top of the tower
in an attempt to be the highest power
and i went down to the bottom of the deepest well
because i had secrets in my heart to tell
and i climbed to the top of the highest crag
so that i would be able to bum and brag
and i cut into my prominent and blood gorged vein
because your beauty had made me feel so lame
and i went and cried on the desert plain
because your love does not feel the same
and i decided to take a trip in space
just to get another glimpse of your troylike face
and a thousand tigers were unleashed
and my heart just had to feast
and the shoes that you left
they were twice blest
and the thin robe that you wore
it turned into a magical musical score
just to smell once more
your perfume aroma on my head
but you are now dead
and i must live on the dreams of memories of lust
and i remember your naked heaving bust
that so replicated the mother earth
when our love was fruitfull and given birth
and my life was so complete
just to have created this incredible feat
part of you lives on past your burial in the peat
and i climb again the ivory tower
amongst the mists and the april showers
and i look way down below
i just don't want to let go

Really beautiful.

This is my favorite part. The whole poem shows great heart.

Thanks for sharing.

George~

Now i am curious.
Was typing up a poem from conception instead of handwriting it a new thing?

I have found that sometimes if i get really stuck, i can type what i have written and see solutions or come up with major changes. But never have started and finished a poem with 'type.'

Regards,
Laurie

Laurie, i do both ways. It depends on what mood i am in.
Both work, although some better than others.
Best Regards..........Georges
