Uncanny Din: A Rant

Just a bit of fun- a video I made recently:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKXBgavdDFY
I've always loved this song and because I don't know French, I found that I was *hearing* English words when listening to it. Just the way my brain coped with the language, I guess. I found that without even trying, I learned the song phonetically. (Even my daughter, who has come up with several funny LC lyric misinterpretations, asked me "why is he talking about 'Barney?'" one day.)

Soooo...it's all conjured up some pretty funny/surreal images in my mind, and I thought I'd try making a video in the style of this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLd22ha_-VU (Yellow Ledbetter- Pearl Jam- probably the most "famous" misheard lyrics video around)

Aha!!! Here it is. I saw it on YouTube and if it didn't show up here soon, I was going to bring it over.
Fantastic Esther! The more I watch it, the more I laugh. And I find myself saying "words" to myself and laughing - like - just the title alone - "uncanny din - a rant!" Haha!

hehe, fantastic. Even if you do know some French it's not the easiest song to get the words of - never heard an accent quite like it...

. Now I will probably always think of the 'uncanny din'.

OMG Esther! It's been a long less-than-a-week-before-Christmas-glazed-eyes type of day....filled with traffic and people who seem not to see other cars...perhaps we're invisible? eh? Plus lots of elbows and pushing...
Anyhow...I just came onto the Forum and your FABULOUS video! How funny!!! Except, of course, the fact that I'm Canadian!

Forget that...you are brillant! Where did you get all this extra time?? I am still chuckling...bravo Esther!! I think Leonard would LOVE this! Hopefully he will see it.....
Thanks for making my day....just before I go to bed!

Thanks Esther,
Internet out 2 days ago; power off for 18 hours yesterday. I'm glad I got to see your din today as I don't know if the power will stay on through today.
Thanks,

Hilariously brilliant! It certainly is "a rant" in your fantastic interpretation - like a tantrum of non-sequetors! (don't know if I spelled "sequetors" correctly - but I'm sure you can make something interesting out of it if I didn't).
Thank you for the laugh!

Thank you Esther, brilliant. You have just revealed to me that I can understand French! No more wee wee's for me, nom de plumes and more pays from now on. Plesir da more, mangie touts, duvet.
