Hello.
I'm going to this show and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope I am not the only one from this forum. Can anybody, please, recommend a nice hotel near Parc des expositions?

Hello,
I'm going to Tours with my son. Centre stage, Row I....Perfect.

Regarding hotels, I'm still undecided myself. I went to both Nantes and Vienne last year and selected hotels within walking distance each time. This is a much more difficult venue to do this, plus the time of year is against us.

Having said that, I will probably choose one of the Mercures. It would appear that Tours is well provided with many reasonably priced hotels. I will look more earnestly after Christmas, and let you know what I find. Also, I am passing Tours in December en route to England, so I might take a slight detour(s), (pun intended!) to recce the place.

Thank you for your answer, bigpaul16

I'm going with my mother. Row B.

This time, I'm also finding it difficult to choose a hotel. As I'm traveling to Tours by TGV, I initially considered staying at the one next to the station, only to later realize that Saint-Pierre-des-Corps might be a rather "chaud" area at night. So now, and given there isn't anything near the venue, I´m going to start looking for something in the city centre. Maybe the Mercure will be fine.

I just hope the weather will be not that bad. Just in case we have to walk 3 km and there are no taxis, buses..

March shouldn't be toooooooooooo cold.
With the massive car park facility I'm not worried to arrive by car.

The walk to and from the amphitheatre in Vienne was a absolute delight. (it was still about 30 degrees!!) I'll not be walking far this time.

If we go for the Mercure, I could even give you a lift!! That's the one in town, not the one about 10kms away.

Row B is good. Stupidly, I delayed purchasing while I decided which son to take. Looks like it has cost me about 6 rows!!!

Your tickets are also good. We're getting too exquisite about seats

Three years ago LC concerts were only in our dreams. No real good or bad seats.

We'll finally go for the Holiday Inn City Centre, which is very close to the Mercure. I hope the weather will be "nice". If it isn't, a lift back to the hotel would be much appreciated (if you are staying in the Mercure)

This will be the last of their 6 French dates.. I expect the band to be in top form by then !
