Amazing for sure, that secret life! :) I haven't been able to locate Lorca's photo yet. Was hoping for something as obvious as "Lorca on Hydra." In which group of photos is hers? Looking at Leonard, Suzanne, and Adam, I've always believed Lorca must be predestined to beauty.

However, imagine being her and having to sort through that dynamic. :?....."He loves me[me], he loves me[me] not.....He loves me[me]." Even with her woman friends....as much, if not even moreso. The delights and dilemmas of being Leonard Cohen's daughter. The private life she holds to has some very definite advantages ~ Filter #1, #2, #3......:? ~~ :( /  / :D. Must she, at least at the cursory level, rule out all musicians, singers, writers, and poets? 8)

With the reference to her living with her dogs downstairs in the same house as Leonard, I've presumed that she is single. It seemed like if there were a male figure in there, he'd have been included with the mention of her dogs. It sounded like Leonard is the main man in her life, at least at the writing of that article. Or maybe that issue remains private by design.

All good things,

Thanks, Smile.....

I'm finding photos from circa 1979-80 [that certainly give an idea of things to come with her face], yet nothing recent. I looked at Photo Page and Photo Page 2. Is the most recent one elsewhere on that site? I don't have time to look right now, but if you could point me to it, I'd appreciate it. I figured the photo being referred to is somewhere on Jarkko's site/coverage of the 2002 event, but don't have time to look through everything there, either, right now.

Thanks!

Quite a nice looking girl, anyone single could obtain Leonard as a father in law, quite a bonus!
Wonder would he play Dance me to the end of love at the wedding? It's a pity that i'm already married.
Flippantly yours.............Georges

It was in love that she was made
and though she is not here
the holy spirit in her smile
will never disappear

The pulse will cease within her heart
all cohens will be gone
but love itself will never die
it lingers on and on.

(sorry Lorca, Sorry Leonard, I guess Im not that great a poet)

Well, I like it, Peter. I don't understand the line, "and though she is not here" with reference to the "holy spirit" in the next line makes it almost sound like someone is already deceased. The holy spirit that comes from being borne of love could surely show in one's smile...what's "she is not here" referring to?

You can't help but have in mind what kind of spouse you would like for your children even if you don't have a heck of a lot to say about it, and I can't help but wonder what LC would like to see for Lorca. Would he say "someone just like I was at that age".

although she is not here

Well, what I meant was : she is not here with me. But your right i doesnt sound right. I guess I had several verses mixed up. I wanted to weep because she wasnt mine, but also say that some persons are gifted with a smile that has the spirit of the eternal.

Hi Peter,
I sure look forward to seeing this/these photo/s. Her smile sounds wonderful. I understand your poem now, with that explanation. Yeah, there's probably some better way to make that distinction. However, I still like it. Thanks.

Ha...Linda. I think we all know the answer to that one! Except at 26, he may still have been quite his quiet, serious self....not so actively into the women yet.
