let me explain
by way of beginning
i am tired, so tired
of being tired (of cliches)

i'm dissenchanted
bemused and damned
to never settle ever
to roam the layers

for where is there
no politics? no strife?
where do people walk
arm in arm? every one?

where do they try?
will i ever try?
what will i find
that is not allready

there
that place that dreams
its inhabitants to life

salut,
elazar

Elazer

I like the line "..that dreams its inhabitants to life" :)

and I like the intro...." let me explain"

and also .. "tired of being tired"

and ...... "..to roam the layers"

A lovely poem in its entirity and those lines stood out for me. :)

When you find this place send me a map :D

Dear Elazar~ tap those ruby slippers together and say: "There's no place like home, there's no place like home....Haha Just kidding. Your sense of humor and irony with get you through all this. Bask in the unknown, with one eye open...can't go wrong. cheers, laurie

Not to mention checking out the long-running competition between the two major cities of Oz, Elazar...... now might be the time 8) ? I really am sorry to hear that things turned out so badly for you  . I sincerely hope you can make it a case of turning lemons into lemonade :D .

..that dreams its inhabitants to life stood out for me also... and how terribly appropriate for where you are, El. Don't the Aborigines believe that they dreamed their world into being as they walked along the ley lines?
