And so it begins. I live in Miami, and I have never felt more blessed.
I did a photoshop portrait to celebrate:

We are off to the show, with club seats that include full buffet and unlimited beer. I will have a full report in the morning, for now I am really hoping to hear Light as the Breeze. My number one song of all time for any artist ever.
Tonight's the night!

Hi Rian,
That is possibly my favorite song also! However, I truly doubt you will hear that at the concert tonight

If you do, there will be a lot of us VERY happy to see it added to the setlist, but there just wasn't enough time for Leonard and the band to practice during their short break. You will though, be SO thrilled...beyond words! Enjoy!

Thanks Di, I know it is a (nearly) impossible dream. I have had things like that happen to me before, we shall see how strong my mojo is currently.
I will send the bliss we feel directly into the night sky, breathe it in with us!

I'm confused...the concert started with "I'm Your Man"?
That is REALLY different!

This is so exciting! I looked at the clock here in Arizona at exactly 4:30 and thought I could hear the faint strains of Dance Me to the End of Love. Maybe it really was I'm Your Man! Whatever ... you're there and I'm not ... and you're thoroughly enjoying yourself! Can't wait till San Jose!

finally figured out what the pre-show music is: Metallica songs played on acoustic guitar.

johnny42 Intermission at the Leonard Cohen show. First half was excellent. More acoustic Metallica on the PA.

I'm hoping since I'm new here that I can ask some stupid questions and not be judged harshly.
If video taping is forbidden, as it will be in Atlanta Tuesday, how do these videos happen?
I mean, I've sneaked cameras into venues for Willie, but Willie doesn't mind, it's the venues.
How does this work with Leonard Cohen?
