Stereotypes

Like the diamond rhombitic patterns on the bronzed nude
I knew i had lost you forever and for bloody good
like the bacteria advance on the rancid food
Vomiting at dinner parties, can be ever so rude
and as i looked at the cracked mirror in the washroom
I was not the bride, i was the bloody groom!!!
and the sweat poured down my dizzied head
like ants stealing their small crumbs of stale bread
and i realised that we are all living in fear and dread
as to which one of us will make the ruffled bed?
our roles are stereotyped and rigidly laid out
apart from the actions of the religious and the very devout
and except if you go clear and out and far away
your actions like the Golem will remain set in very thick clay
water running down worn recognised channels of boredom
or maybe instead fountaining in the harems of the whoredom.
