Dress rehersal

to watch a vein of a leaf replicate in my wrist
i can't overcome this i will make it a fist
an erect and gurged veins in my arm
i will try and do myself some self harm
and the blade was sharp it was zealous and did please
as i realise my life was a playground of slease
and the crimson release of the life tide
did partition my brain into a fatal glide
no longer the glimmer of hope
as i puffed again on the sleepy acrid dope
and i plummeted down the razor sharp slippery slope
and the metal is real, it is not a joke
and the face of an angel and not a slag
this is no longer a dress rehersal rag

Whoah, George! :?
Are you feeling OK, dear heart?

Don't make me worry about you....that could really piss you off!

Love,
Makera

George

I rather different type of imagery, this is life no rehersal.

The poem does register and make an impact, but I need more time to catch your drift.
