Death and the dying

Death is becoming and in fashion again
the old are now living with the arguments of the slain
and very few are frightened of going through the pain
and the fantasy is dying for in God there is no gain
"eat me while i'm still alive"
too fat then i'm not in beauty's disguise
and the cold earth enshrouds the cold bodies in the caskets of wood
not capturing the spark of energy, that could make us very good
and where does this energy go, when we are dead and gone?
what happened to all the energy of the dead at the somme?
and the suffering of the christ on the cross
was it all wasted in the dying and the loss?
dried blood in the knots of wood was all left of the living and was embossed
and whilst energies are created in the darkness of space
it still keeps on dying in the whole human race
and the travel of light to infinity
captures perfectly the idea of a creator and the divinity
and the woman and the man
hunter and the ever rounding frying pan
energy cannot be created or destroyed
yet there was still the fall of troy
it must all go past the trident and into the sea
where your soul is for hire but can revisit the earth for free
residing under the multi branches of the fundamental sacred tree

Albert Camus said why don't we all commit suicide because of the absurbity of what is our purpose in life. I say we do not have to commit suicide as both friend and foe want to bury us alive. Just trying to survive while our life hangs by a thread

And a very slim golden thread, Ben
