was that the tower of Babel?
or just the leaning tower of Pisa?
God, there's no pleasing you
and if you could manage to hold up the jewels in the crown
they would still try and kick you and hold you down
but they are the mothers of your own inventions
and they demand your obediance and attention
look at no others rather than me alone
or my scowling look will turn you to stone
there aint no Gods there in the throne
will save you from my nagging wrath
don't you dare go up that divine path!!
and created was i from your rib
to furnish you with the rocking of the crib
and don't you ever tell me a fib
i will see through you!!!
my perms are higher and more dear
to cover the horns with the luxury of hair
and to keep you warm in your lions lair
where i alone will lay with you!!!!

Hey George, are you feeling a little 'hen-pecked' lately, dear heart ?
Good poem, though. :D

George, I've tried not to be drawn into your poetical black holes...but you are too strong. The "Women" has been my final undoing. I will never be the same again.

You're FANTASTIC!

George this is one of the best. If I read between the lines I see that you have gained much knowledge. In the eternal battle of the sexes, you have come to the inevitable conclusion, that it is only when man has realised that he cannot win his argument with his woman, that he has at last won. And oh what a pyrrhic victory it is. :(   :? A picture speaks a thousand words.

I love the immediacy and intimacy of "where I alone will lay with you!!!!"
