Every time diamonds gets mentioned here I think of this song, then I wander off to you tube and start watching Paul Simon videos.

I will try to be a more concentrated Leonard Cohen fan in the future, actually I think I better be a more concentrated worker at the moment.

I took my prawn to the junk ship
and they threw it overboard
because they said it had the face
of a middle-aged Jewish singer
that the Chinese particularly dislike,
but that don't make it Neil Diamond,
although it did lead, many centuries later
to one of the worst poems
in the history of the Lazari World
(or maybe just in the Lazari UK)
about Diamond Neiling
although a cover version
about a lover
the Queen
presumably of Diamonds
is just as bad
as is a recent piece of
gibber
ish
about a daughter and
(wait for it, what inspirational
and meaningful rhyme could possibly follow)
yes, WATER
where the junk ship
sailed
in the Han dynasty era
from 220 BC
to 200 AD
the very same era
as a geezer
called Leonard Cohen.

soz, it's just the best tongue-twister I know . really tricky. try it and report back soon, (but type softly as I'm going to bed now and you don't want to wake a sleeping lion)
Lion (or,as I'm known when I'm in court, Lion Bar)

Oh I see now the problem i have been having. When you look at the words you cannot hear my beautiful french accent, the way I can roll my rrrrr's when i write
disprrrreached by diamonds underrrer his knees
then maybe it would be known exactly what i was talking about.

now paraphrasing Paul Simon's Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes
And you could say rrrrrrrrrrrrr
As if everybody knows
What you're talking about
As if everybody would know
Exactly what you were talking about
Talking about diamonds on the soles of her shoes
( or somewhere else )
....and thank you everyone for your tiny pieces of great fun
