I see you are a gambling man.

Once while walking pass a casino with my son he spotted a note on the window of a car door. It was before he learned to read and wanted me to read the note to him, which I did. It said " Go ahead and gamble all you want but you better know my limits"

He then asked me what that meant and so I told him that the person writing the note was probably a partner of one who was inside gambling and that gamblers are fond of saying that they know their limits of how much they can gamble but that the partner was saying that they should also know their partner's limits.

He then told me that it probably wasn't good that one was gambling and i said that it seemed to me that both of them were gambling and that the one writing the note was maybe even willing to gamble more. With a few more questions he seemed to appreciate the point I was making but he was a bit troubled by it. So I turned it around and pointed out the value of what can be gained by them learning how much they can gamble on each other. That seemed to please him and we continued our stroll.

I like gambling myself as every time I place my left foot forward I let my right fall back.
