the shades pulled down
O Solaris why doth thou torment me
the toilet's stuffed again
with yesterdays cigarette butts
and last years skin
is it a dull pain or a sharp one?
wouldn't you like to know
my last possession i will not
beqeath so passively
let me lie down in the sunflower seed
husks and bubble gum
scraped off your heart
and breed

will you
indulge my dandylion fluff fetishes?
let me show you how easily
i can trace my lineage to
the old whore you named Venus
thats when love
became a grand S&M session
unthaw me when things
have come full circle

uncut my umbilical cord dream
your introductions can't save me
my flower plant agrees
no one can save me

Well, Elazar ~

I really like your choices of words and phrasing to write this poem! Not representing my own life ["whew" emoticon], I've seen and known those for whom it does, and it's very well done. Very graphic. I love your last verse and the perspective it gives. Excellent!

Is this an Oz-vintage one by the way?
