Lachrymal canal

In reality
a cynic is
a believer of love
pretending not to be hurt

Cynicism
is just another tool for survival
like getting drunk on redwine
it works for some time
until the heart washes the mirror of memory
with spirit
and your face is distorted
deadly stiffened
like a finger
on the door bell of comfort

The cynic knows that
the river is starting to freeze
and that the river became river in his lachrymal canal
his irony and sarcasm are little torches
with which he tries to warm up the water

The cynic send fragile boats of paper loaded with dreams down the flood
and before the boats sink they unfold as swans
modestly bending their neck
because they see him standing alone, in love and confused
on the brink of falling, just before, they are taken by the abyss…

The cynic is in fact not cynical
he is a romanticist, and sentimental

And the sentimental is not sentimental at all
he is serious

He saddles his horse, and brush the mane
he lands in the horizon
with bloody eyes

what does 'cynicismen' mean?

it meant that a Dane, writing in English, made a spelling mistake.

it's not like "Once upon a time, when Leonard was 8 years old he was attending a school in Montreal that had it's own once upon a time when Catholics and Jews went to the same school." which means a Canadian writing in English made a grammatical blunder with his misuse of an apostrophe

and it's not like "if ever there were a candidate to pen a sequel to 'beautiful losers' - Jack would fit the bill", which means that a Norwegian writing in English has had a epiilliteratic fit

The first is carelessness, the second is ignorance, the third is a troll.
