even to the smallest crowd
I can see without a doubt
I'm to ugly to be proud

Pain it comes and pain it goes
seems to you nobody knows
could it be my lonesome friend
in your voice no heartache shows

Try to beat a restless night
it is such a hopeless fight
nothing is so cruel and bright
as the early morning light

Do you mind well do you care
'bout the sadness in the air
are you just and are you fair
when you do not try to share

Have you really lost your way
is there nothing more to say
join the path of Jesus Christ
get down on your knees and pray

Longed for love but stayed the same
is´nt that a crying shame
well the devil in your heart
he will give you one to blame

Mind the dagger in your hand
when you stab an evil man
by the righteouness you feel
you must leave the promised land

Join your G.O.D of Calvary
he will surely see you through
when you're happy when you're blue
he will care just what you do
