Sean, how interesting to see Silvia's video. A playful version of H. Very nicely done!
Re: My favorite Hallelujah cover
I wouldn't say this is my favourite version, but I have definitely heard worse! This is great fun. If it has been posted elsewhere on the forum, apologies.

Hi Evie
Good cover.... Tui has listened many times to Hallelujah, obviously.
Here is another cover by Silvia Moreno of Leonard's 'Nightingale' song.

Re: My favourite Leonard Cohen Hallelujah covers
It's difficult for me to appreciate a cover of a song I like, but when it comes to "Hallelujah", I have to say Rufus Wainwright has done a pretty job.

Hi Stamatina
Well, I grant you the parrot is no canary! I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it, I bird actually managing to say Hallelujah, quite impressive.
Just a joke
I have heard so many versions of Hallelujah now, I have lost track. I very much like Rufus Wainwright as a person, watched a programme a few nights ago about his life and the story around the opera he has written which is on a present in Manchester. He is extremely creative, but I do find his enunciation a bit of a distraction, even though he has an excellent voice.

As I've already said, I find it difficult to appreciate any cover of a song I like and I do understand what you mean by "a bit of a distraction". But I like is cover because he's singing the song so differently that I forget it's Leonard's "Hallelujah" and this distraction does not bother me.
