Number 6

Give me the eyeball
Show me your scream
Give me your best
Show me you're mean
Take out the blues
Take if you dare
Give me the eyeball
Give me the stare

Your time is up
Your time is now
Number 6, take your bow

Echo your orders
Rasp your commands
Question the black
Answer your fans
Watch the red mist
descend from the peak
Challenge the strong
Chastise the meek

Your time is up
Your time is now
Number 6, take your bow

Show me the cracks
of a face that is worn
Show me that anger
of when you were born.
When you were born?
When you were born?
A womb you were torn
You never were born

Give me the eyeball
Show me your scream
Why were you born?
What does it mean?

Your time is up
Your time is now
Number 6, a final bow.

WoW, Pete! With 3 refrains, whose last lines contain 6, are looking at 666 here? The challenges that come with that number certainly seem to be mirrored in this most interesting poem. I like the dualities and these lines particularly strike me:

"Challenge the strong
Chastise the meek"

and

"Show me the cracks
of a face that is worn
Show me that anger
of when you were born."
[followed by the questioning and conclusion regarding even that].

To understand the poem itself, I'd have to talk with you about it, or study it a lot more. These are my first impressions. I can tell you for sure that I like it, however :D !

The man's six mad. Take a cold shower for at least an hour and return to our forum with where 3 is a quorum. But lest yee be scared of that terrible word, between 5 and 7 is no way to Heaven.
Time for me and Albert to share my tablets.
