Hi

For some time now, I've been trying to find more information on a particular photograph of Leonard. I've pasted the only version of it I can find.



I'd love to have a large print of this one for my wall, but I can't seem to make any headway on it. If anyone knows who it was taken by or whether it is available from anywhere, please let me know.

I can't vouch for the accuracy, but I've seen that photo marked as having been taken by Dominique Issermann, the photographer with whom Leonard Cohen had a romantic involvement.

Yes, it's done by Dominique Issermann, she was doing many official photos (some of them sold as large prints) in the 80s, and directed b&w clips for Dance Me... and Manhattan.

Last what I saw from her was some photo sessions with Emmanuelle Beart in the Elle magazine, and Kate Moss photo session, then Carla Bruni... It seems she's very famous in those circles as the photographer. You can find many of her model photos (like this one ) if you type her name into Google Images.

Well, that shows how deeply I must have looked. Now that you've posted that larger image, it looks familiar, I remember the fadining off to the left.

Just had a look at the postcards and promotional pictures on leonardcohenfiles.com...there was even a match box cover with Leonard Cohen on it!!!I don't know what to make of it!

Yeah, I remember seeing a leonard cohen matchbox for sale on ebay about 5 years ago. I wasn't able to bid on it at the time though
