I'd love to go to Venice. The show in Rome was also brilliant, amazing venue, would love to go there again.

It may be the rumour that is sinking.

by here comes everybody
Yes- I'll be in Rome for the whole of July- nice in itself, but was really hoping for a show in that country in that month.

Any further rumours? Even rumours of it *not* happening?

Wow, Piazza San Marco? :!:

I will take this opportunity and remind all fans from Croatia and Slovenia that there's good connection, we already used it for Lucca show - the train leaves Zagreb at midnight, via Ljubljana (2am) and in 7am is in Venice...

Tom

If the 3rd. August is ever confirmed then put me down for the Venice gig....... but who will be waiting at the unearthly hour of 7am. on Venezia Santa Lucia to welcome you to Venice off the overnight train from Zagreb this time?

Me again most probably:-)

If you, me and Leonard all manage to make it to Venice then this time I promise to give you the full tour of the city.

This would be so cool. And I am so on. The only thing that makes me sceptical is the reference to (Sir) Paul McCartney straight underneath... Don't know how you feel about that Liverpool Ken? Can you let us know if this gig is confirmed though? I am looking forward to a disembarco... a Piazza San Marco.. solo per Leonardo... McCartney pero' no!

Fear not Trish.
The reference to the dreaded McCartney is if my eyes don't deceive is 'in trattativa' = 'in negotiation' so his name on the list of events hopefully has nothing to do with Leonard's possible gig.....just sounds like Sir Paul is still haggling over his fee before he leaves his castle.
Understandable I guess when thanks to a certain one-legged lady he ain't as rich as he use to be, po' boy.

Ken
You sound a bit doubtful about the Venice gig ( as did Jarkko), but that ad Tom posted looks promising, as if the negotiating is over. :D
I love Venice, and a Cohen concert in the Piazza would be just too good to miss.
But I suppose it's a case of que sera, sera.! :D

Well it seems promising. If it does happen - Ken, you will have to wait for (at least for now) my 5-6 friends coming along with me :)
Local fans waited for the cancelled Ljubljana gig so long, that obviously this time many will travel to Venice or Vienna.
