Since it's sports arena, I'm wondering, if there could be a GA section on the floor...
Does anybody know this venue?

It looks as if they put in blocks of seats on the floor for concerts:

I've seen Bowie there a few times, always GA on the floor, seats elsewhere.
I suspect they'll have seats only for Mr C.

i know this venue as i saw prince there in 1987 on 'the sign of the times' tour and i thought that for a big venue, it was excellent for both sound and atmosphere. it could have changed a bit since then though since that was 22 years ago!!(don't know where those years have gone).

Thanks for all the information. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... Somehow this forum is helping me to get familiar with this technique

I saw Bruce Springsteen in this venue 2 years ago and this is a perfect venue for both electric or acoustic formats. LC would sound perfect there.
By the way, does anybody know if this leg of the tour will include Spain? Any rumors? I have not been able to see him yet and I would travel to see him if he doesn't come but it would be perfect if it was near home
Thanks!

I can't find it right now but I am sure that Jarkko has hinted very strongly that people in Spain will do very well in the final European leg of the tour.

I´ve read it in the other thread about the european tour (German gigs confirmed...). There Jarkko suggested, that the Spanish fans will become excited, when they see the tour schedule.
What a nice rumour for you down there deep in the south ...

Well, "excited" is going to be an understatement for our Spanish friends... but the same with the French ones!

Jarkko, without confirming anything, would you care to speculate whether us UK fans
might have reason to be excited too?
***Yes, to some extent, everybody living on those few big islands to the West of mainland Europe.

That is real bad luck for me as Marianne Faithfull will perform that day in Lörrach (Germany) near Basel and she has got priority credit by me!

Bad luck also as I will be in Paris on July 6th for the Cyndi Lauper gig in the Elysée Montmartre venue. So I could have stayed there a day longer.
But shit happens!
So folks being in Paris you might go and see Cyndi the day before, in case this Leonard gig will going to be confirmed...

As for the Bercy Hall, I was there for David Bowie twice (2 sold out shows in 2003), Eros Ramazzotti (2003) and Madonna (2004). People queing usually early in the morning (for Madonna I waited for 25 hours!) BUT as Leonard Cohen will be with numbered places no worry. Only 1 entrance door!
And as for Leonard Cohen concerts in big halls - in Zurich, there were 2 big screens: one on the left, one on the right. So I guess also in the Bercy Hall.
As for Leonard Cohen in Paris or elsewhere in France, I advise to register for the alert system:

...in order to immediately get good place(s)!
