Every Mirror That I See

Every mirror that I see
Death stares back at me
It talks to me so calmly, as if
Wanting to share my pain with me

Sometimes I feel so scared and alone
Death deceives me and my life forlorn
I feel lonely and so alone
It hurts more and more as I go along
It eats the flesh from within my heart

Sometimes I wish so bad
You could see my mirror with my past
Share my sorrows and feel my pain
Take some weight off my chains

Oh! My prayers are finally answered
God has come to my rescue, I think
Church bells are ringing on and on
Or are they my chains rattling again?

Who would commit to my soul?
Numerous lifetimes into this world
Who would share my mirror with me?
Who would relieve this pain from me?

I would commit to you like a dog
You could train me like a horse
Make me work for what I am worth
Release me! Release from my chains
Relive me! Relive me from this pain

My soul flusters in a rage
Ready to leave for another cage
