Does anyone have any ideas as to what will happen when the US/Canada tour is over? new album? some more touring to promote new album? (preferably to Europe! pretty please

) Any ideas? For my two cents worth the touring thing seems to be suiting Mr. Cohen down to the ground, hes looking good and really rocking!

IF everything goes well, and according to the plans, the next leg of the tour will be in Southern Europe late summer/fall. The new album has to wait until the tour is over... and looks like it may take some time!

But, what is SOUTHERN Europe??? That term doesn't quite exist. I guess it does include Mediterranean countries? (Obviously it does include the much rumoured Spanish shows - in Agust 2008, there were 10 or 12 dates, and then postponed...)
On this tour, we will also learn some brand new geography

South of Watford, perhaps? Good! that means Leonard will be coming to London, again.

I hope to be travelling in Europe in the fall. Perhaps, I could see him again. Now that would be a dream come true!!

It's a US term. We use it to mean the "Latin" countries, such as Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Here in Connecticut, there are many Italian Americans who only refer to it as Southern Europe because of cultural and physical differences between them and the northern countries.

I saw some info relating to a possible gig next summer at the Paris Zenith which can accept up to 20,000 persons. Obviously some European countries have not been made as yet. For ex Spain and Portugal but also, considering the overwhelming demand in France, and Benelux would it be appropriate to plan extra shows over there ? and why not mention Russia and Turkey...

It would be good to see LC do some Eastern European dates. It's his ancestral heartland & would have a certain salmonic symbolism. Don't suppose it'd be a big money spinner.
