I'm trawling these threads on behalf of someone else. Can someone help? I don't recall whether I read it out here somewhere, or if it was in a PM [but I can't find it there... in fact, when I transferred several from the same person to my private email, for answering, I just seem to have gotten lots of repeats of only a few PMs :? ] ~ however, my POINT is that someone said that at Coachella, Leonard would probably be doing only 3 or 4 songs [vs. a full-scale show], per the standard operating procedure at that particular Festival. I think it was also expressed [or maybe it was just a thought of mine] that, perhaps, he'll somehow manage enough time to do a LOT of encores ;-) . Does anyone recall such a [any of it?] conversation taking place on the Forum itself? If so, do you remember where? Or could you just relate the jist of the information and its accuracy, if possible?

Thanks.

I have not gone to this specific festival, but have gone to other festivals including those by this sponsor. No, it is not just 3 or 4 songs, but it is also not the whole concert either. Generally, where a musician is on the line up and what stage he/she is on determines length of time. I think Leonard's going to be on the main stage prior to McCartney and will probably be 45 minutes to an hour. The stage line ups and time allotments should be coming on line soon.

Hi surfergirl,I think leonard talks a bit about Coachella in the interview posted on the forum
titled Coffee and Candor and mentions it is a shortened set. I am going to
Coachella to see leonard but must admit I was thrilled to see that Paul
McCartney was also playing. No matter what one thinks of him he is a legend
and if he sings Hey jude it will bring the house or Polo Field down!
