Jarkko, a much as I admire everything that you are doing, please DON"T post any passwords on the Forum !
All the scalpers are computer literate now, and in no time we'll have tickets for sale offered on the EBay for triple the face price.

Mirka,
You're right! Already eBay has someone selling tickets for Coachella before they even go on sale!
I now know from everyone that has corrected me that Coachella has been on sale for a while -

I know, I know - I screwed up. So sorry.
Really embarrased regards,
Mary

If you happen to get to choose your vender, you might try ticketweb.com...I don't think there is any easy solution...unless you pm everyone a password...or did mail order ticket sales...
Good luck

I'm following the strategy & instructions formulated by the tour organizers. In the future the presale tickets will be WILL CALL only.
Coachella tickets have been on sale for some time on the festival website!

Just because people have Coachella tix for sale on ebay doesn't mean they have tix in hand - usually they are figuring they will end with some once they go on sale.

Hi Jarkko,
Forgive my ignorance, but what does "will call" tickets mean? I have tickets for the Beacon show (so excited), but am anxiously awaiting the announcement of future dates and hoping so much to be able to see another show.
Many thanks for all that you do,
Sue

Collect at the Box Office. For International buyers, it's often the only ticket delivery method Ticketmaster make available to us.
Use of Will Call should help reduce the amount of people buying tickets just to make a killing on eBay but it won't stop the "casual" concert goers who simply want to be part of an "occasion" like the Beacon show from getting the tickets ahead of the "true" fans. Alas, there is a limit to how much Jarkko & co can do to protect our interests. They (Jarkko in particular) devote an enormous amount of time to us as it is.

The casual fan of today is the true fan of tomorrow. We were all casual once, and I wouldn't want to demonise them ... let's just focus on crucifying Ticketmaster and scalpers!

Thanks for the explanation, Mabeanie1. Hopefully it will help on the presale.

"will call" also means that you have to show both the credit card you purchased with and your ID. That will certainly knock out the scalpers-especially with a ticket limit.

i hope that some "true"fans don't buy all the tickets if they already saw 10 shows or are going to the beacon.... I've been a fan of LC all my life, I bought 10 albums, and I've never seen him LIVE. This could be my last chance.

"Will call" is a great idea...keeps the whole system honest...I love it.....except for the long lines to the "will call" wicket....an opportunity to just listen to LC on your ipod while you wait...a pre-concert!
