I've heard of Amanda Strydom, but don't know anything about her, anyone know her/her work?

AMANDA STRYDOM COVERS RODRIGUEZ ON NEW ALBUM

Amanda Strydom’s new album, "Verspreide Donderbuie/Scattered Thunder", is
due to be released in late-September. Strydom wrote ten of the fifteen
songs, and there are also four covers as well as a composition based on a
poem by Hennie Aucamp called "Straatbank, Esplanade".

The covers on the album are ‘Rich Folk Hoax’ (Rodriguez),’ Take This Waltz’
(Leonard Cohen), ‘Hoe Ek Voel’ ( Johannes Kerkorrel), and ‘Sondag In
Soweto’ (Stef Bos - translated from Dutch to Afrikaans by Strydom) The
album’s original songs are: ‘Verspreide Donderbuie’, ‘Doekvoet’, ‘Stadig
oor die Klippers’, ’Engel met 'n angel’, ’Scattered Thunder’, ‘Ek Het
Gedroom’, ‘Diva’, ‘Izinyanya - die Vergetenes’, ‘Silwer Somer’, and
‘Ndyakholelwa’.
