Jarkko,

Here follows what I surprisedly found on 'Google alert''

This, if true, means that further tours are already scheduled !!!! Has anyone heard any further ?

Yes, I also saw it at http://www.ubbu.fr/news/leonard-cohen-j ... llet-2009/

However, this might also be a canard! According to the official Benicassim website, the dates are July 16-19, and
the artists announced so far are Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon and Paul Weller.

The dates given in the quote are identical to last year, and also all those artists performed last year! The
new artists are not mentioned at all!

So, for the time being it is best to r.a.w.p. !

All these mentioned artists played Benicassim in 2008. Do you really think that they will have the same line-up in 2009 ?

Henning, yes that's true! You posted your message while I was investigating this and editing my first message.

Jarkko, I knew I had to hurry with my find before you would discover it yourself. At least I am glad that I posted this helpful information at the end of 2008. Now I will glide into 2009 with a touch of dignity.

AEG Live confirmed me today that the news is NOT true (the source Relaxnews is repeating last year's details!) and that Leonard does not have any plans to play in Benicassim again.
