Try and get this link to work and click on 'listen to this programme in full.' It follows the News which comes first and then enjoy the first couple of minutes

Click through the website to get to Radio 4. Then look for the programme, Thinking Allowed.
It can be found in the 'Listen Again' menu that is available at the top right of the Radio 4 opening page.

This link works for me. It takes you to the podcast section, but allows you to dowload just that episode.
Also there was a great discussion about the latest O2 performance on the Word Magazine Podcast last week 20th November, including comparison between the skipping on and off stage with Morcambe and Wise (probably only meaningful for British listeners)

the song being sung at the beginning of the programme and the end is this one :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r24_T-HO ... re=related - i'm your man.
_________
ithe programme's also on iplayer :
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... 26_11_2008
intro up to i minute 40 seconds followed by exceptionally tedious colloquy : leonard's song reprised at the end - tune in at 26 minutes and 50 seconds to hear hattedness `debate` followed by song (cut short on iplayer).
for future reference : (audio's only online until next wednesday).
laurie opens the programme by saying listener helen maudsley (sp?) wrote in regarding the alleged immaturity of contemporary males to say she's "found the perfect incarnation of a real man whom who saw last week.
"gorgeously handsome at 73; soft grey fedora; elegant, grey striped suit; singing about love, sex, spirituality and relationships: the plight of marginalised and excluded, reciting beautiful poetry in a voice of unbelievable depth and resonance.,cohen is living proof that sensitivity, modesty and emotional intelligence can still be a feature of true masculinity - especially with a grey fedora".
------------
p.s. there's a repeat of the programme 00.15-00.45 CET - monday 1st december, 2008 for completists who want to catch it :
