Hello Chani, nice to see the youth of today still taking an interest in Len(although I'm only 28 myself) how did you discover him?

Hi Chani
Welcome to the forum
I myself am quite young... I discovered Leonard in 1970 when I was 17
It will be interesting to hear whether you prefer his early songs or his later ones.
Regards
Pete

Hi Chani - I too am quite young - well compared to Methusala (phonetic) (that bloke in the Bible whose name I can't spell).

wow! i didn't really expect to get so many replies. i'm 18 and the first song i heard was "In my secret life". then i listened the whole album, and accidentally "Suzanne". i just loved this one! then the 2 novels were published in Romania, my country, and i was curious about them. now i thank my curiosity. it really was interesting reading them. i must admit that i'm not an expert in his songs(i told you, i'm just getting to know them), but i can say that it's something about them that it makes you want to keep listening and listening. (i like both the lyrics and the song, and that's something you don't find very often) well, that would be a brief presentation of my experience so far with Leonard Cohen, but i am working on improving it:)))))))

Hi chani ~
Welcome to the Forum. You have many great experiences with Leonard's words and music ahead of you, and many great people ahead of you, if you remain here. I sure hope you will

. I'm glad to hear that, at 18, you're of the mind to be so drawn to Leonard.
