Dear Brian Miller
We are sorry to inform you that we will be unable to provide you with the tickets that you have booked via our website. We have been let down by our suppliers. We are sending you this email as soon as we found out and we have now stopped trading.
Your order was processed by a Credit Card. It is your fundamental consumer right to claim a full refund by contacting your credit card issuers and initiating a process known as a “charge back” due to “goods not received”. It is therefore quite important for you to contact your credit card issuer at the earliest opportunity and initiate this process.
To facilitate you to that effect please find below a list of the most popular credit card issuers and their contact telephone numbers. If your credit card issuer is not included in the following list please refer to the back of your card or your credit card statement for the appropriate number to call.

As an internet business, we conduct our communications efficiently via email. Please forward all your queries to sales@tickets4venues.com . We strongly recommend this form of communication. We will respond to every email within a short period of time. If you wish to talk to someone, there is a 24 hour call center that will pass your query to us via email which in turn we will answer by email. Their number is 09065940086 and please be aware they charge £1.50 per minute from a BT landline or more from other service providers. Please note that this is an independent call centre and we do not profit from this.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and trust you will apply for your full refund as soon as possible.

Re: BEWARE ONLINE SCAMS !!!
Why did you buy them? There are links on here for special members tickets to Glasgow[still available i think]I imagine your CC company will reimburse you, minus a charge or two!
Re: BEWARE ONLINE SCAMS !!!
Brian, I am so sorry to hear what happened to you. This again shows that the warnings we have posted in many threads of this Forum should be taken seriously. Do not buy tickets from anywhere else than from official ticket sellers! If you need tickets to sold-out concerts, ask first our other members in the threads opened for this purpose.
The letter you received from tickets4venues.com opens more questions than it answers. This might be a double fraud, too - maybe they do this all the time. They sell over-priced, non-existent tickets and keep the money. Then they ask the client to demand refund from the credit card company. The client is angry but at the end also happy that he gets the money back, and lets it be. The sellers are even more happy - they made 100 % profit. Brian, I suggest you make report of an offense to your local police.

Re: BEWARE ONLINE SCAMS !!!
Brian that is really upsetting, although you should be fine having paid by credit card rather than a debit card. Good luck, hope you get your money back.

Re: BEWARE ONLINE SCAMS !!!
I discussed this fraud also with Marie, and she had a good suggestion to all who missed the now sold-out concerts. If you really are ready to pay 2x or 3 x the face value, do not buy from scalpers, auctions nor eBay - book a cheap flight to Germany and reserve tickets to a show in Hamburg, Frankfurt, or Berlin!! EasyJet and some other airlines have so cheap flights that you still are paying less for the flight + concert ticket (well, you have to book a hotel, too, but asa bonus you'll get some free time in an interesting city!)

Re: BEWARE ONLINE SCAMS !!!
Jarkko is correct. This is a common scam using the chargeback method on cards. That email you received, Brian, is obviously a pre-prescribed one sent to people after they have bought tickets at extortioate prices. Some credit card companies do not allow "chargebacks" from certain sites as a result of this scam (I know, because I have a small online business that takes credit cards).jarkko wrote: This might be a double fraud, too - maybe they do this all the time. Myself and a couple of others tried to write some guidelines on how not to get scammed, at this other thread: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=10663
Jarkko, perhaps you can copy that thread (or the posts) to the top of the Fall tour section, too? It's only on the summer one.
Brian - I really hope you're able to get a refund in this case!
***One of our moderators has already moved this to the Fall section. I also sent the information to AEG Live - just for their information / Jarkko ***

Re: BEWARE ONLINE SCAMS !!!
My parents ordered two VIP tickets for the Birmingham show and after two emails asking what was going on, we got this reply (note that this is the only email that they have sent to us).
Dear XXXXXXXXXX,
As confirmed to you over the previous e-mails we have unfortunately have had
to stop trading. Since we have stopped trading, we won't be providing any

from Multicards at the time of booking. Once you have contacted your credit
card company then they have to forward a form to be completed by you,
however they HAVE to have a hard copy of e-mail and it takes 14 days to get
this process completed.
If you have any queries in the meantime please feel free to email us, but we
warn you it may take us a little longer than normal to reply due to the high
volume of emails we are receiving.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and trust you will apply
for your full refund as soon as possible.

It has the feel of scam all over it, so in the interests of fairness i thought I would find out more about the company. If you are interested, this is the domain registrant details (i.e. who owns tickets4venues.com)

I cannot find any reference to tickets4venues.com at Companies House (active, dissolved or in liquidation). The website is hosted in the US by Bluehost Inc. Does anyone know if they would need to be registered to trade in the US if the website (that is run as a business) is hosted there?
