Are any of you folks into playing games on your PC?
At the minute, i am playing the new Lara Croft game "Angel of Darkness", the graphics are stunning.

NO!!! I hate computer games! Probably why I spend so much time here....don't surf, don't visit other chatrooms/boards/forums, don't play games, don't......, don't......, don't....... ~ however, I have very recently heard/seen that game mentioned somewhere in a positive way. The graphics sound interesting to look at, but not if I have to play.

The only game I play on the computer is mahjongg. I have a program that offers several versions of it, and allows me to play Leonard Cohen as background music. I have to be very careful when I play though, it's very easy to lose half a day that way :?

 ~ good choice of words, Georges ~ but no can do. Enough hours at the computer already, between work and Leonard-oriented screens. I'd rather focus on getting my personal, e-mail backlog [where at least real people are at the other end] under control, or playing a game with my cats [living, breathing, animated creatures, whom I love] :D . Thanks for the suggestion, anyway, however :) .

I discovered The Sims for several years ago, and now I am adicted for sure! I love decorating their homes, but hate sending them to work.
Once I created an awful person, who disturbed my nice little world, so I had to kill him. I built a room without doors, so that he could not get out (the sims can die if you starf them). I had to put windows in so I could watch him die!!! How awful it was, but then again - that's the fun with these virtuel worlds anyway.

Racingcars are fun too :D

Cia - a colleague of mine at work uses the Sims to work out her frustrations with the office management. She has discovered that you can kill people by sending them swimming in the middle of the night, or any other time when their energy levels are low. My daughter also once accidentally killed a plumber who had been called to a Sims residence by having him touch an electrical socket while standing in water. The poor guy was electrocuted, and now every time anyone sends for a plumber this skeleton turns up with his tool-bag.

Anyone else found any good ways to kill people?

Can you imagine the sort of mind it would take to think of putting that sort of kink into a program .......... and how many more there might be

Hi George and LinMag, Cia, and Lizzytysh

I have played SimCity. But my city was always being destroyed by slum development. :( I never could get the hang of staving off the slums. And then a tornado would come along and destroy it all. :( And I was always running out of money and getting into debt.

 Oh, G~d, Coco ~ sounds like the story of my life  ! That's unbelievable! All Linmag's daughter ended up with was a skeletal plumber  . Yes, Linmag, who does make these things up, anyway? Very funny on that one!

Coco,Coco, Coco, as in real life one will have to learn to cheat in the Sims world. You cheat to make money and then built alot of parks around the industry, be sure to have railroads and roads around the industryarea, and remember no Sim wants to work too far from his home. You can find Cheat-codes on this website: http://www.thesimsresource.com

hope this will give you more pleasure 8)
